- Update 3/30/12: Android 4.0.4 has been merged upstream into CM9. That means that alpha2 shall certainly be Android 4.0.4. We shall be testing vigorously to be sure that 4.0.4 hasn't brought any regressions, and if so, fix them.
- Update 3/30/12: Video recording has been resolved, thanks to the brilliant guys over at Teamhacksung. As of now, it only includes 420p resolution. Once we obtain kernel sources, we can implement a hack used by GT-I9100, to upscale it to 720p and 1080p.
EDIT: 720p and 1080p now work. Once again, a big thanks to the guys over at Teamhacksung. - Update 3/30/12: The issue concerning netflix videos has been identified and fixed by our very own sbrissen. You can be certain that this fix will be introduced in the upcoming alpha2.
Changelog of CM9 alpha2
- Android version has received a bump from 4.0.3, to 4.0.4, bringing along with it those bug fixes and changes.
- The video recording has been fixed.
- The issue with Netflix and other similar players has been resolved.
- The phantom voicemail issue people have been getting has been fixed
- The lights for the capacitive buttons work in a better fashion, more similar to TouchWiz.
